FUN FACT • Kopp was featured in The New York Times, May 1978:
"Paul M. Ropp first started working in India four years ago... Now he's done two complete lines spring and fall — for India Nepal, an import company... Although he does the same kinds of big tops, long vests and tapered pants as so many of the others, he manages to give his an individual look by mixing bright colors. Red, peach, lavender and magenta might all be combined in one outfit, or gold metallic threads might be woven into a plaid rayon shirt tunic. As Ropp puts it, “I like to make people smile.”
