80s cotton plant dyed sweater by Banana Republic / med - XL

Vintage 80s, heavy, ribbed knit cotton sweater, naturally dyed a lovely sage green color with marigolds from my garden (I used an iron mordant to tint the color green).
The sweater has a boxy shape, wide sleeves taper to a tighter ribbed knit cuff, the sleeves are rather long and may need to be rolled for a better fit, ample stretch throughout.

• • • NOTE • • • the dyed color is meant to have an uneven marbled look, there is a small darker grey spot at the center back towards the bottom (see photo of back on dress form)
