vintage 40s olive green wool coat / WWII US army jacket / double breasted slim fit with shawl collar / Womens Medium / Mens XS - Small

Vintage early 40s, boiled wool, WWII army jacket. Made in Philadelphia, USA.
Beautifully constructed, heavy weight with a soft feeling wool, this jacket has broader shoulders, a slimmer fit through waist and falls about mid-thigh.
Features buttoned shoulder epaulets, double breasted button closure, wide lapel shawl collar can be folded up and buttoned at neck, adjustable button strap at wrist, large flap closure patch pockets at hips, fully lined in green rayon satin with an inside slash pocket.

Fabric • best guess is 100% Wool, with thick (rayon?) lining

Condition • Good overall, loose stitching around some button holes, minor threadbare spots throughout (see photos)
